The Seahawks have re-signed Nick Harris, bringing him back to the Pacific Northwest. As reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Seattle has reached an agreement with Harris on a one-year contract worth $2.51 million, with the potential to earn up to $3.26 million if certain incentives are met.
Harris, aged 25, was drafted by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL draft. He has appeared in 40 games for Cleveland, starting four. Despite missing the entire 2022 season due to a knee injury sustained in preseason, Harris returned to play in all 17 games for the Browns in 2023. He saw action in 25 percent of offensive snaps and was occasionally utilized as a fullback in running situations.
Having played college football at Washington, Harris is familiar with the Seattle area. Now, he will continue his professional career in the same city where he played collegiate ball.
